Bigdog is smack dab in the middle of uncanny valley.

I love biomimetic technology. I'm going to build a customized phototrophic robotic bug this semester with instincts and behaviors. When I am able to teach biology, I'm going to let my students build creatures too in order to learn about reactions, behaviors, biomechanics, and biological systems if I can.
