DSD is a good map. The reason why the games get boring is because of the 16vs 16..... Try DSD 1v1 some time

DSD was boring long before i "stoped" playing spring.

Comet Catcher remake, MoonQ20, Xanthe Terra V3 are imo the best maps.

Then there was some map named Green Comet, and Green Haven that i think was good too.

I don't remember if 4Skulls where a good map or a bad one... but i remember Crossing and CenterRock and they where good if you didn't overplay them.

DSD is not that good on small teams either imo, just not enough maneuvering room. But definitely better than 8v8 (or 16v16).

I sense I have said something an intelligent individual might not have.

As long as they play the final at least once and find good reasons to not continue doing so, fair enough.

its the australians and their weak internet connection, we feel bad for them and change back to a map they have.

change map to speedball, its 700KB has many tactics, and it doesnt last long, its fun and epic, and noobs hates it. (after they lose ofc).

DSD is a great map, it is just too bad it has a type map (speed bonus for vehicles) on the flats.

The reason people play DSD is that 80% of them are noobs. And since DSD is so porcy, these noobs can still live and slowly explore the tech tree and think that they are helping, while actually they are completely useless for anything other than being a meatshield.
Meanwhile, the decent players on each team proceed to get huge economy and fight it out to decide who wins, without giving much shit about what the noobs are doing. It's just the most fun part of DSD (And BA in general) - getting +500m economy and spamming nukes, berthas, and whatever else u can think of.

DSD is a fine map. No reason for any hate. Plenty of other good maps, play them.
