Actually, it sounds a bit like a Sacrifice rip.

Edit : Or, after reading a bit more, kinda like a fusion between Sacrifice and Pikmin.

Let´s make a Mod of it and take it into modern Times. The Overlord is replaced by a Dev, the Imps by OS-Supporters, and we steal, rip and burn down the Industry..

How about Time Travelling De Lorean DMC-12 as Scouting Unit? Oh, the Pronzthoughts of Rattle derailed me.. sorry. BUt a Pronzmod for Overlord... inneed a good Idea

Except that you dont have to scout anything in this game, you cant give orders beyond your line of sight :)
