Re: FRANKENPUTER!
I knew I saw a little ATI sandwiched between 2 NVidia monsters! I take it you just had it laying around and had a free pci-e slot?

Re: FRANKENPUTER!
it'll run 5-5-5-12 stock,
prolly 4-4-4-12 volted and OC'd a little...
I've got no coolant in it yet, and the silicone is sealing all the joints...
I'll get it running tomorrow..

swift, its not poor ram.... DDR2 dosen't have itty bitty timings... it just DOSEN'T...
and all the chips that claim it, are lieing and unstable...

Re: FRANKENPUTER!
my bad... its alot better than 5-5-5-12...
OCZ PC2-6400 SLI-Ready memory modules are programmed to boot at 800MHz DDR2 with supremely fast timings of 4-4-4 1T. Only motherboards equipped with the custom-designed BIOS, such as those designed for NVIDIA nForce SLI MCPs, can detect the optimized SPD profiles and ensure the memory functions under the best possible conditions.

Re: FRANKENPUTER!
And aye, a x1600 pro aint that bad... totally creamed by the now discontinued-because-they-were-too-good-for-their-price-range x1650 XT's... *ahem* excuse me while I stop myself from going into an extensive discussion of how depressed I was when they disappeared and how barely satisfactory a replacement the GT's are...Definition: "Crysis" - What happens to your life after playing Crysis on a frankenputer.
Re: FRANKENPUTER!
gonna be tedious to move that thing into LAN parties ~,~
