I tried some beta of sinsofasolarempire and it seemed to suck. The combat is really uninteresting and flat, and the economy/research as well. The ships available are really boring, just a basic frigate, bomb frigate, missile (long range) frigate.. all small ships wtf, then there's "cruisers" that dont seem any bigger then the frigates and all of them are pretty much useless, no weapons. The capital ships are all pretty much the same except they have some different abilities that don't really have much impact.
