In my opinion this is sort of a split in gfx philosophy . One way is high effort (art/programming wise) the other is more the people's approach to comp gfx and sacrifices control.

How many artists get really ever to release something big, something definitiv? Near to none. You are always just another slave in the mill. All alternatives, involve giving up large parts of your life.

So tooling to get get fast, easy results, with the option to still have controll over it. Yes. Go for it.

It doesn't replace artists for fresh works.

It only automatizes the "HD remake" industry.

Liberating hard-lurking artists to deliver pizzas. Seriously why do we sympathize so much with artists? They are all facists, wanting to rule there own private little worlds. Stomp them into the dirt with a iron boot, make them work.
