That wiki page is imo pointless, but jK kept updating it for some reason, ask him

The only benefit I see is formatting. I don't think it's worth the maintenance requirement.

I think the wiki changelog should be cleared and replaced with a link to the above txt. Any objections?

I have replaced the wiki changelog with links to the github changelog and the commit log.

just rename the changelog to md then use markdown for it? Assuming formatting actually matters.
