can I get some kind of janitor status?

can I get some kind of janitor status?
Where i can move these spam posts to the spam forum when I see them instead of troubling the moderator staff with it.
Re: can I get some kind of janitor status?
That's what we're pretty much doing most of the time =)
There's no need for reports unless it's obscure.
I kinda wish we required all first-posts to be approved by mods/admins though. We used to have it but wasn't applied on the full forums.

+1 to having first posts approved.
And to having "content dev" status being enough to do the approval, for the subforums that it covers.

I'm not sure, from my experience, on most forum that require post approval, I've been unable to get approved.
And communities need fresh faces to stay afloat.

First-Posts
* In a thread? (I think you meant that)
* By any user?
Users which start threads should be motivated to help others which also started their threads and haven't received feedback jet.
Suggest to post in threads in which
* you haven't commented jet
* where the author wants more feedback to a point (point=/=post) not commented jet
Sometimes even 2 newbies have questions the other one can answer.
* And if they share their curiosity, the thread gets a higher priority to show up in the "Threads which need feedback"-section because more peoples are interested into it.
* Implementation: INT cooldown is added. CD decreases by 1 for each thread on CD. CD decreases each time all threads are on CD
If all that fails, there is no way except to bother moderators and admins to either delete/approve threads or other users to ignore them - which is bad for the authors which really want feedback on their thoughts.
* But even moderators sometimes have been revoked their rights because they abuse them or they don't approve because they are busy for a few days in succession.
If there is an approval system, I prefer it to automatically apply approval to a number of threads (per user/forum/total) if moderators fail to review it in time.

No, first post globally.
It's usually enough to detect bots, although in your case I'm not sure...
