I think wiki search have regressed, try to search for SpawnProjectile -> no hits ... you have to search for Spring.SpawnProjectile to find it.
Previously i think wiki search used a custom google search which worked fine when searching like this.

It would be good if the search was more visible too, I didn't notice it was there for literally years.

That's why I advocated using google search so long ago, but the germans here are afraid of el goog.
In a google search box, put: site:springrts.com/wiki searchterm
That will perform a wiki search using google.

Google site search is a bit gimmicky, it gives better results but the UX is awful
Why not use elastic search? There's add-ons to mediawiki supporting it and it runs quite well, we could host ES on the same server and it can be used for other things too
