Gamer's Choice award contest.

Spring Fails in some areas but is unmatched in others.
So I thought Spring should be given a chance to compete.

I'm a bit confused. Did you nominate Spring or are you suggesting we should? Also Spring is an engine.

On the awards themselves I think they will have some trouble defining an online game. There is no clear distinction.
Unless otherwise noted, eligible titles are persistent online video games...
They say persistent here but what is persistent? Minecraft is clearly persistent as changes to the world persist while the server is running. WoW is persistent to the extent of character level and gear and is commonly called an online game. So WoW is persistent but what about LoL?

I would draw the line at LoL and say it is not a persistent online game as it is played in distinct sessions with minimal effect on each other. Looking at last year's winners the competition organisers disagree, LoL won in many categories. So if LoL is a persistent online game so is Zero-k.

Anyway I doubt any Spring game would win anything because a game has to be somewhat known to be voted for.

nominating ZeroK sounds good to me. if it is not too much trouble to do. it should not hurt, even if chances to win are low, you might still get some publicity from it.

I say throw zk's hat in the ring. It might not win but it would get attention.

+1 for Zk

( nominating spring would be like nominating Unreal Engine, Unity3D, Source etc it'd make no sense )
