Boirunner. Last he told me he was working on a web game or something but that was a few years ago. He had lots of great ideas.

AA 2.23. Spam weasel. Lots of silly people saying "they're not overpowered!!". The joy when BA got released. Also an AA unit: commandos. Being able to capture everything without being spotted. Awesome

The SYs in general. SJ, Yeha, Fnordia etc. SJ was an incredible player.

[WarC]. NOiZE, Daywalker, min3mat, etc. One time I was playing some other game I think Warsow or something and I saw Daysleeper. That was fun.

AF's awful spelling. I remember somebody made a program which would automatically correct it, my first post on the forum was saying it didn't work, heh.

The hideous font early Spring releases used.

The server being hosted in Slovakia.

Constant desyncs.

My first multiplayer game where I said "hey i am a newbie please stomp me!!" and somebody doing just that. Was incredible fun. Played on SmallDivide. Best map.

The many attempts at a NewUI with the curse of the NewUI.

AF's insane posting rate.

E&E. Best mod ever.

The PRO_ clan. Are any of them still around? I can't even remember the name of the best guy, he was incredible. 1v1s were amazing. Dunno what the 1v1 scene is like nowadays.

i had 8v8 dsd today. was not fun at all.

hanging out in teamspeak with fang mello and the lot was fun.

having hope for the engine and community.

believing there was going to be a community of people making awesome content.

Not having to deal with license bullshit

Not having people baw about map sizes

not having 40 spring projects with none of them completed.

The time when Altored Divide was played all the time instead of DSD.

My first proper game - A massive XTA game on Mars. Good times.

The time when I actually had time to play Spring

riverdale was 3 maps in one

lua was "the thing that makes spam in chat" when it broke

downloading a map with browser, clicking "reload mods&maps" and it just worked

forest fires (there was some map with super dense forest)

so much error spam in chat that talk was only possible by markers.
esp in games with more then 10 (16?) it spammed something about team numbers > X

over 9000 air cons building berthas

some maps caused desyncs and were avoided (centerrock got plaqued by this i think

Totally. Lionheart was the first awesome Spring player I played against. (back then, he was just a blue-star!)

the days before dsd are foggy, it has overtaken my spring memories, help! I do remember the desyncs though, ahh, lovely things.
