file universe and the tools that used to be there.

Post by srapop »

I recently read through few threads and tutorials about unit creation, modding and so on.
For example,this page:http://springrts.com/wiki/Map,_Mod,_And ... t_Programs
There are a LOT of links to content like Upspring, 3do builder and scriptor @ "file universe".They are all broken.
It says on file universe, the content may change.Looks like the content was moved around so the newcomers @ spring have trouble with
d┬┤ling it :P

The stuff is still there. It took me a while to find that out though.
I┬┤ll try to make a list with the links that work for now,and appreciate help with this.I hope someone with access can then update the links.

It's a wiki. You can edit most pages there. :-)

Thanks for alerting everyone. I look forward to seeing the links fixed.

Sure, just asking for completeness sake.
It might be nicer for users of 3ds max to import directly instead of convert it with Upspring.
As the wiki-page says, Upspring "is the only other way to get files into the s3o file format for Spring other then the s3o plugin for 3DS MAX."
