Spring RTS Engine

hey, i was on the Glest forums recently, and they now have a shop (it sells T-shirts and stuff). well, why dont we have one? perhaps we could use theirs (didnt we make a lobby for them? they could repay us!)

i would love to get a shirt with the Arm logo on it (thats only if we could get some rights from Atari...) or maybe a picture of an army of bits (with a byte here and there).

if we got one, we could use the revenue to pay for more merchandise and the creation of more mods (or something of the nature)

How do you make a shop for an engine? Any Spring merch that would be recognizably spring-Y would involve TA stuff.

Imho, the only product I can think of that would be good would be a simple polo with the Spring logo on it.

Complete Annihilation doesn't even have a final name, and BA is all TA stuff, which means it can't exist on the Spring website. Kernel Panic could have some fun merch, if anybody played it.

Id buy a spring t-shirt if it had a good design.

And when i mean a good design, i dont mean that orange shit with a crown that you call a logo

if spring had some sort of mascot (like linux has tux the penguin) it might make sense but only a logo + text is boring.
i also want a plush commander who does that spring rap if you poke him.

i totally want a T-shirt with a bunch of commanders on it, it would say "Com Shooter: An FPS for a New Generation" on the front! (partially because i am the leader of the mod...)

anyway, do you think that Atari would let us sell TA merchandise if we gave them a small amount of the profit? (i want an Arm com plush too, preferably with a working d-gun) i was also thinking about going to one of those design places so that i could get an Arm logo window decal for my car, we should sell those too if we could get permission...

Well DSD pretty much represents BA, so you could have the map printed on shirts for all the BA fans.
