Spring RTS Engine

I am a vet but I have probably played less than 10 games (I try to spec and avoid playing whenever possible).

1) Does anyone else do this?
2) Should I have this rank if I haven't played enough to get to rank 3? When I do play, the team I play on has a huge disadvantage because of me.

It doesn't unbalance games because most vets are awful anyway.

I must just ask, when is it not possible to avoid playing?

when someone asks u to play with them or "we dont allow specs" in a game which looks like its gonna be awesome.. ..cba to think of more situations

I spectate quite a bit, but usually i'm off doing work or getting food or something. My spec/play ratio is closer to half and half.

If someone asks me to play, I most likely will unless the map is comet catcher, which I'm not too particularly fond of.

I sometimes sing the titanic theme song in the shower.

Or play on springie more. It balances based on elo rating instead of ingame time, so having tons of spec time doesn't count against you. If you want to check your elo rating open a browser and go to http://springie.licho.eu/stats.php?getelo=name where "name" is your lobby name.

Mostly on [Overdose]Autohost (for some reason, even if I'm not the fifth spec, I get kicked every time there are over 4 specs).

or u can make a smurf acct that is actually a truth acct, cause ur main acct is antismurf

nah www plays somewhat regularly and is quite good at econ/lategame

I spec probably 70% of the time, as some of my fellow CA players would confirm.

bet gadget adding more uneccesary bloat to CA is not good news

i spec about 80% the time these days, as the level of game play in most mods in spring is fun anymore.

cool to watch, dont get me wrong, just not fun.

i prefer replays when bored, at least you can fast forward.
