Interface is done using p2p coordinator server
http://trac.caspring.org/wiki/DownloaderProtocol

Springlobby and downloader implement it fully atm.

The NOTA player base uses TS a lot but we have no admins on the licho.eu server, and thus prefer/ can only use the SPRINGPLAYERSCLUB:8786 server. I would rather we all use one server. You should set a few more competent admins since you are not on a lot.

We daily get 8 players in our TS games. The TS teams nearly always win. We have had many games of 7v7, 5v5, and 6v6 with one team on TS these last few days, and you can guess how badly the other team gets mowed.

I suffered first had on a 7v7 on conquerers Isle. TS rox!, licho please set 123v or 123v[NOTA] as a server admin. I am trustworthy. Any nota player would vouch for that if you do not believe me.

1) you dont need admin on my server- everyone has rights to create channels there etc

2) my server is designed to work automatically (integration with springdownloader and springlobby) = it auto puts people to same rooms based on their alliances.

Unless you want to cheat you should be happy with automated system.. you are guaranteed to get no idiots in game channel other than your allies.
If you kick them from game they will be kicked from TS too

Licho, if you're not playing, I presume you can still wander on and see what's going on, right? In the public channels, at least?

Yeah sure you can.. but default channel is silent (silent idle channel).
Also if you need moderator rights for some special clan channel let me know.

? What you mean? If you dont want to be moved disable auto move in springdownloader.

Yes. I connected manually, but i fucked up my name when i was filling it in. So i fixed it and reconnected after that x.x

Note that you can prevent system from automatically moving you between channels by disabling "Auto-move to correct TS channel" in SpringDownloader settings.

I am sorry to say that I caused the late problem on TS.
Licho, you have a pm.

We do need to restore server admins to make it functional, but I do like the new improvement that prevents server admins from making more server admins.

Could it be possible to make a second setting that moves you to the correct ally channel but not the idle

Because 99% of the time i have the move setting off because it moves me to the idle channel while ingame.

The worst part is most of the times im not even idle.

If the game is running it wont ever move you to idle.
Except if you have incorrect name (not matching lobby name)

I think it should be two diffrent settings idle move and none idle move

It has to move you to idle if you are not playing. You are not supposed to be in other people's game when not playing.

It moves you to idle if you drop from the lobby which does tend to happen a lot. I'm not entirely certain what to do about that, other than maybe modify the movement code so that if the lobby keeps track of who was in every game and if one person is still in that game leave everyone in place.

By the way, I've noticed it moves people in TeamSpeak based on spectating replays as well, so if someone opens up a public replay watching anyone who played in that replay will get moved.

It already works that way matarife - it considers game as "in progress" until at least 2 people are "ingame". It should not move anyone to idle channel if game is still considred in progress.
