New mapinfo/download page

Post by TradeMark »

I made a page where you can see big minimap of the map and some information about the map.

Also made single clickable image which opens that mapinfo page: easy to browse and find new cool maps!
One big image is faster to load than ~600 separate images...

Simple maplist:
http://spring.jobjol.nl/allmaps.php

Mapinfo example:
http://spring.jobjol.nl/mapinfo.php?m=SwampIsland_v4

Its going to get improved in some time, that is just the start

Thanks to jj hosting it!

Nice!

Could you also provide some interface to get map download url from spring hash?
I would integrate it with p2p downloader system.

*THE* metal map. Completely awesome. NOiZE haven't updated it to fix issues with newer Spring versions :(

It's actually pink now. Not grey :(

Yeah! What kind of hash? Checksum in the "ArchiveCacheV6.txt" ?
Or did you mean the direct URL to mapfile? dunno does jj allow it.

+ how to calculate that hash? so i could add it in the PHP script too...

Yeah that one.
You calculate it using unitsync or manually. Its crc32 of sorted entry list of sdz or sd7.

Files in sdz are sorted by name and then put into array in the form "<filename><hash><filename><hash>.." where hash is CRC of the file stored inside sdz or sd7 header produced by compression algorithm itself.

Resulting binary array is then CRCed and thats the archive hash.

There !

http://spring.jobjol.nl/mapinfo.php?hexhash=2767BE0C
http://spring.jobjol.nl/mapinfo.php?hash=661110284

You still want that direct download link from hash?

Edit: added direct download, just add direct=1 into url parameters.

Edit2: direct download works now with map name also.

You also have to convert all filenames to lower case before sorting and it is "<has of lowercase filename><hash of data>...".

That is freaking awesome :) There are maps that look really cool that I had never heard about before, and impressive works of artwork, such as the monopoly map :) Even digital siege (the crap map I made filled with 1 and 0 ) is there.
