Suggestion: Add scroll down bar for Spring non-battleroom

Post by RightField »

When you start spring.exe and want to be server if you for instance are playing against the AI, it would be nice if you fixed it so the map selection list could scroll down, since currently it can't, making you unable to see what you select futher down.

Yeah, or at least make the font smaller. (in fact, the overall font size is too big imo)

Font's not neccessarily too big so much as that it's not scaled at all for different resolutions... at 640x480 it's too big, at 1280x1024 it's way too small... that opening choosing map screen does need a scroll bar or something though...

I don't think the font is scaled with the resolution : my resolution is 1680*1050 and it is too big. (at lest for me)

In my tests, it displays 14 maps at any resolution. In the mini spring executable, I apparently changed the text size for that so more maps fit on one screen, but I didn't make a note of it... I think it was in PreGame.cpp, but I could be wrong. Ugh, I had forgotten I did that until just now or I would have made note of it...
