Thanks to CA

Post by Scratch »

we have more and more players who only play it who used to play BA and now a partially split community

I like BA and just like I thought, if I want to play against the more challenging players I guess it's CA then. Didn't I predict that people would go to it and stay. Now the servers don't fill up as fast, and I don't even know half the people that play BA I guess they're noobs or something.

Which is why BA will eventually shrivel up and die. You have to evolve. You have to adapt. You have to use pwn lua and terraform.

The more the community is split in what mods they play, the better.

Quoted for emphasized truth. Without experimentation in design, there is no worthwhile continuation of play.

HA is not Hello Kitty Annihilation, it's Hitler Annihilation! (S:1944)
Jesus Annihilation has Richard Dawkins as a krog.

BA is TA 1.0 in perfection.
CA is TA 2.0 in early Beta.

Early beta? What? After more balance tweaking than other TA-based mods together and on average 100x faster turnaround cycle than BA (release/mass test/evaluate/repeat) ? :)

It's just we are not running out of ideas what to add, there are many things planned which only became possible with spring 0.76.
