Nice!
Re: NOTA 1.66
ZK bombers use alot of LUA I've heard.
I'm not even sure they use the Spring engine fuel.

Re: NOTA 1.66
Aircraft only land when there is not free airrepairpads available. But that happens alot. They used to fly back to the airrepair pad and circle it and wait for their turn. Now they land instead and when they fly again, no other airplane can use the airpad until this unit have landed and refueled.

Rapiers get more HP for cost though. Brawlers can take more damage before dying but they don't fire back at the fighters.1v0ry_k1ng wrote:rapier + brawler guts unmicored fighters imo

Re: Why does AvoidFeature default to true?
The custom hitspheres is different from the ones that Line of Fire calculation use. This can cause huge problems for cannons to fire through forests even if the features are nonblocking features that have really tall but very thin custom cylinders for example Not sure on this one. Custom collision ...

I would agree with you but now it avoids non-blocking features, which we both agree is undesirable.smoth wrote:for the better, if the mod wants the old behavior they can set it up in weapon defs post.Godde wrote:But why does it default to true?
It changes gameplay.

Why does AvoidFeature default to true?
Recently cannon weapons and I missile weapons can determine if their Line of Fire is blocked by features. Great! Another great feature to include in games. But why does it default to true? It changes gameplay. There are also somebugs concerned with cannon balls and propaby missiles aswell. Even if t...

Notice that spamming commands won't work well if the latency to the host is low or if you play singleplayer.

Re: Some feedback
When you use autoretreat(the little chicken) and repair zones(retreat zones), you can place the zone wherever you want. They listen to orders when they retreat but their new command gets overriden by another retreat command given at the nearest repair zone after a second or so. So if you spam comman...

Re: Some feedback
Aircons are kinda expensive and die really fast to fighters. Its usually better to let your allies take the mexes unless they are spread out alot in my opinion. My gunship approach is quite the opposite for the early game. I usually churn out as many banshees as fast as I can and spread them out to ...

I couldn't open the file. Said wrong Spring version or corrupt download. I got spring 85. What map? The commander turning its whole body can be reproduced in a variety of ways: Dgunning at longer range than the laser range. Dgunning through friendly units. Dgunning through features. Dgunning through...

Re: Radical metal spot suggestion.
Overdrive definetly makes high income mexes be much better than other mexes. Overdrive is done in percentage distributed to where it provides the most metal per energy usage. If you have powerful mexes in your base there are little reason to overdrive low income mexes. If high income mexes are in th...

Re: What are the best widgets for Spring and BA
Its like customFormations but for attacking with bombers. You select a bunch of bombers and you draw a line to attack. The widgets distributes the attack commands for the bombers on that line. So you can carpet-bomb quite precisely. Not sure, but I dont think areaAttack is involved at all. But draw...

Pressing the number keys when being a spectator in 82.7 games made you switch to that players view. Why it prevents you from calling group numbers in 85 games when it doesnt in 82.7 i dont know.

commandfire=0; in the units fbi file should solve the problem. Although I am unsure wheather or not this change was intended with spring 85.

Mostly undocumented feature: you only get 1/2 resources back from reclaiming units or structures Isn't it 60%?
