Re: [IMPORTANT] 95.0 will got a new folder structure

Not sure what i was thinking, .spring is right.

A lobby command to open the current data dir is a good solution to help new players find infolog and map/games folders, unitsync should be able to help finding the dir.

Re: [IMPORTANT] 95.0 will got a new folder structure

I also think ~/.spring/ is a little odd, if we change it perhaps use the name spring_data instead of just spring.

rebase develop after cherry-pick to release

I think we can avoid the reverts when merging back release onto develop: 1. cherry-pick a bunch of commits from develop to release # git checkout release # gitk --all (right click the commits on develop to cherry-pick to release) 2. rebase develop # git checkout develop # git rebase release http://d...

Re: FXAA

Just tried FXAA in zk with my GTX 460, the 3D world looks great but i think the gui is suffering a little it (some noise in letters).
My GTX 460 still dont think it needs to run at max frequency so it must be fairly cheap (i run with vsync and 1920x1200).

Re: What Linux Distros are you using?

I have tried a few distros before but i have been very happy with archlinux/XFCE for ~2 years now.
Only go with arch if you are ready/want to learn a bit of whats under the hood a bit and edit/merge config files your self.

Re: SpringLobby - please implement !join

Where will that #lobbydev channel be ? Also, i am a bit skeptical that magic will happen by just gathering a bunch of lobby devs in a chat but perhaps its a good start. I think a lot can be discussed on this forum first (but not this thread), e.g. on the "!join"-topic my opinion is that a ...

Re: SpringLobby - please implement !join

No misunderstanding, i am pretty sure we all understood he meant banning SL from ZK. Luckily he has come to his senses on that one.

I still beleive the juggler should be banned from zk team games.

Re: SpringLobby - please implement !join

The juggler is not working for team games in zk, it annoys many zk players (including me).

Just mentioning banning SL for this broken/unwanted feature is just scary.

Take a look at

I guess you know you can just install spring from community and you will get spring-multithreaded on archlinux.

Re: SL/TASC - please implement !join and hash 0 disable check

I am having some trouble understanding why this is needed and if it might be asking for trouble to not check if client has map and mod. Isn't the founder/host required to have the map and mod and send the correct maphash and modhash to server when it creates a battle ? I might be off here but it sou...
