Because to me it seemed you thanked smoth for something that I though I pointed out. Don't worry about that though. In any case, good luck getting more familiar with Blender basics.@Firestorm_ Why the "?"

Re: New Game Development: Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds
Dear smoth,Firestorm, anarchid was saying HE is lazy and just giving the guy an alternative method of texturing.
What makes you think I didn't know that?

Re: New Game Development: Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds
Am I being accused of not being lazy?
I don't think I have to take such an insult.
Pyrometheous could delete a leg and cut his legwork in half (pun intended), but if I look at his UV I think there's even more advice he didn't use...

Re: New Game Development: Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds
Perhaps I meant for you to read a bit of a stern tone into my words, but don't take it the wrong way. I meant to convey that I believe that you can help yourself a lot (and not in the least with making a more workable UV-map) by taking more advantage of some of the advice already mentioned earlier i...

Re: New Game Development: Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds
@Pyrometheous and smoth First things first: It is possible to start texturing the UV, before mirroring mirriorable-parts. @Pyrometheous I advice not asking general questions to much, but try only asking specific ones . I advice not to let people repeat themselves, when asking questions. I advice not...

Re: Random WIP 2014+
I never said I was offended.
Perhaps it was your conclusion after imagining how I'd feel?
So, not offended, but very much not liking the way you decided to resolve your problem. Your arguments puzzle me. To me the gift of apples analogy does not seem apply. Still hope you'll reconsider. Up to you.

@forb
That none of them qualifies (or can be made/fixed to) seems quickly decided to me. I just hope you'll find some time to think about it, and perhaps reconsider.

Re: Random WIP 2014+
There is no misunderstanding as far as I realise. Except maybe that you do not understand (or perhaps better: fully realise) how what you did or decided may affect me... Just imagine our roles where reversed for a moment, if you would. I understand you had a problem with how they looked. I don't lik...

Re: Random WIP 2014+
@forb 01 Aug 2013, from here What I need is over modelers to help me. The idea is that everybody wins with this arrangement. Can I warp geometry? ...you can also adjust the UV to make it do whatever you like. I really really hate when people stretch textures like that. A lot of the parts I used were...

Re: Random WIP 2014+
It took you 4 months to reach this conclusion?
I must admit that I don't find the explanation satisfactory.
For instance, what did you find wrong with this (that can't be fixed)?

Re: BA:R Arm models
Huh? Interesting... That's not how I remember it
I prefer my set-up of course, but I can't complain with all these models looking beautiful in-game. Great work as always.
(Still working on bots, nice and steady I'd say; just a little more swamped, and a little lazy , than I hoped to be.)

@Umay68158 No, to my knowledge I've never used such a jammer. Nor do I desire to own one. Now, a system that would protect the forum from Spam, Spammers and / or Spam-bots; I think that could be very interesting. I will call it a spammer-jammer; you have my permission to use that name if you develop...

I also appreciate someone bringing arguments to the table to possibly argue a hypothesis, in stead of telling people they could get to the information that will convince them themselves.
That said, I think my understanding, and slightly my fascination, has grown a bitcoin.

a fingerprint is also anonymous Ah, that's what you meant. I get it now. (thought, I think that is a bit of a strong statement) ...doubting that there is a finite amount of bitcoins that will ever be mined (just because you can switch units) and considering that 1 meter is an infinite distance beca...

The Libertarian Idea Of Paradise What is this even supposed to mean? To me that sounds like a statement from someone who doesn't know the definition of Utopia. But do not make ridiculous statements (above) regarding how the system works if you want to discuss how things should be improved in an alt...
