Re: MO_PreventCombomb possible rework
- intransparent to the player (I also think a team should not have godlike knowledge about enemy com count) I'm hoping it's relevant to bring up things like nuke and liche damages which are explicitely reduced for coms to make them easier to kill, I think it's a similar enough situation that's just...

Re: MacOS SpringRTS OSX Build
IIRC there's a mac build slave available already. Yes, TurBoss set one up But it doesn't have anything compilable to compile because 104.0 no friends with mac. Actually, Spring 104.0 compiles quite well, you just can't run it because it fails to create an OpenGL compatability context. I don't know ...

Was there supposed to be a link?Google_Frog wrote:I told you how to run the tutorial game when you asked in ZK a week ago but the chat seemed to be lost or ignored. Here is a more permanent wiki page which should get anyone from a basic ZK install to a working tutorial game.

Re: MO_PreventCombomb possible rework
I wouldn't think that it's that simple, it's near impossible for two commanders to die in exactly the same frame. As far as the game is concerned, one always has to die first.Ares wrote:That's a bug a maintainer could fix. When two commanders die it should be a draw, obviously.

Why bother learning a Spring-specific tool which doesn't run on Linux and why use a format which doesn't open in anything outside of Spring? One of the major put...

Re: Why are penguins central to New BA?
Development time that could be spent fixing real issues like pathing or balance is being spent on penguins Allow the devs to have their fun ^^ they already cut out of their time to work on maintaining the game, why not have a little laugh as well? Also, I don't see you working towards being able to...

ok dad, if someone steals your com wreck next time ill be sure just to watch Might I suggest that this is the wrong way at looking at the game – because it's a team game, resources that go to your team should help the team. As in, I'm typically okay with this happening because I'm constantly sharin...

Adolf, people would be more likely to respect your decisions if you showed your level head in refusing to insult them back, maybe this would help somewhat and people would stop being upset with you?

The host owner did, it's always the host owner. I don't know who that is but on reading the !list users on the host doesn't tell you who the host owner is, however from that and from the conversations, I think that Regret/sectoid123 is the owner? I'm not sure, nor do I know how to contact them. Plea...

Afaik mac builds have only existed in the past when mac users appeared and created them. Consequently, a mac user is needed to step up and offer to take it on. Current status is https://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=36438#p583737, along with an explanation of why this looks not possi...

@Moderators Does it matter that he's exploiting some issues? Because the honest fact is that this is not the only way he trolls. He blows up allies' bases, dguns, and his language is attacking, and really not nice to be around. Some people are not particularly pleasant to be around, Mando is particu...

Also please use BA subforum here for proper discussions. Discord is just a chat room and not suited well for true discussions (e.g. it does not even support threads?). Re: No commanders spawning
There should be a provision to specify compatible engine versions within the mod specification. That way, players can at least be warned if they are running an incompatible / untested combination. I know this exists in PA, I thought it existed in BA aswell? Maybe there's an error with it in 9.46? I...

Re: #main not joined by default
The key is highlighting games that have been recently promoted but haven't started yet. I agree with this, so that's now three people who'd like this. For easier integration I've suggested a PROMOTE command – currently I'm looking at coding that myself. I (finally!) have uberserver running on my co...
