Probably. Shouldn't you have listed pdf then? (I heard about some recent security issue with that) and swf maybe, don't know if that can do much even when run locally.
Microsoft Office files can execute stuff too I think? but that requires the user to say yes first...

Re: Security, Lua, and You
Okay, because windows likes to run all kinds of things when you click on them, let's make a list of executable / system-changing file extensions. Speak up if you have anything not on the list that would run on a standard windows install. Binary: exe, com, scr, pif, bat (you can rename to spring.bat...

Re: Pathing...
intermediate waypoints could have problems, if you for example want to change part of the path.. Maybe some sort of hidden waypoints that the widget keeps track of itself. Also I wouldn't use a meta key for it, imo it should be the default behavior for anyone using the widget.

Re: Pathing...
Even when I'm carefully using waypoints I've seen units try to go paths that makes no sense according to the waypoints because of a small slope. Sometimes even because of variations in the terrain I can't even see (com explosions on DSD for example). When I try to get units over small hills I use 5+...

Re: Black flashes on terrain when scrolling around.
Did you try a different water renderer? If a different water renderer works, the black flickering with bumpwater is a known (and complicated to fix I heard) bug.

Re: The new monitor
My first LCD monitor was about a year ago, a 24" TN monitor I got as a temporary monitor because there were no good non-TN alternatives, but TN viewing angles were just too horrible so I recently got a HP LP2475w, which is the best non-TN 24" gaming monitor you can get today, but it still ...

Re: TASclient update installs Spring lobby
I'm going to upload 0.45 of tasclient for anyone who wants version of taclient which isn't buggy and a version before the annoying news bar. I prefer the latest version which has a layout editor that doesn't crash and allows me to disable the annoying news bar :P Also while TASClient has low mainta...

Re: TASclient update installs Spring lobby
I have issues believing that he was intentionally trying to screw everyone over. I mean if it had been done correctly, outside of minor things would anyone have screamed and complained? I kinda doubt it. No one would be complaining if he did it correctly, and he most likely knew how to, but he chos...

It works here and I don't see any default BA LuaUI widgets that would cause it not to.

i think satirik did a great job updating tasclient from what it was back in betalords days to now yes all he earned was some constant immature and unfriendly critic Same as the engine devs earn, do you see them trying shit like this? so what he did was the right thing imo No it wasn't, the right th...

Teamcolor nano turned on, advanced shading is what causes it, doesn't do it without advanced shading, 8800GT.

Re: TASclient update installs Spring lobby
(I don't like Springlobby's GUI). springlobby's GUI can be customized to replicate TASClient's :P I'm surprised you didnt know that I'm surprised you didn't know this isn't true, try splitting SpringLobby into two windows for example... That's just the largest UI difference and there are many other...

4. Also, I noticed an abnormally, where previously ghosted buildings (seen by scout planes) are permanently etched into the map, after a nuke. Even after speccing, the etched ghosted buildings remain on the map(buildings are already destroyed). You need to scout to confirm the buildings are destroy...
