Re: Naval Sim mod - can has want?
<- you can do this with simple hitbyweapon scriptAdditionally you cannot detect the location of an impact so if you wanted e.g. rear hits to destroy the propulsion that won't work.

Re: Slippery slopes and intuitive games
z, your argument sucks, if a player wants to porc, he is helping the other player defend by not attacking. If I am against a porcing player, I'd be the one building the super weapons because 1. I have more territory and thus more resources to waste, 2. I don't have to spend all my money building imp...

Re: Gameplay and Graphics. CALL TO ARMS!
I like TA, but seriously, the "TA" that is being played by most springers right now is pretty fugly. (2) Removing "useless units", descrating the visual cohesion by adding ugly third party unit, keeping the look while turning the role upside down, disregarding every other aspect ...

I wasn't talking about 9/11. I was refering to the Indian War, annexation of Texas, Mexican-American War, Spanish-American War, Colonial actions in Asia etc. All taken under democratic government. aside: the war in Iraq was taken to secure American influence in the region. It was a tangent from the ...

The Taiwan Case is difficult The Chinese Mentality on this is that there is a center in there Country and the closer you are to this (born in shanghai or peking) with the ethny HAN the higher you are above the comon barbaric borderfolks like in tibet or taiwan. Re: Tibet ~~
I dunno, Taiwan might be a good catch. But did they come out one day out of the blue and say they are going to 'annex' Taiwan? They've been saying the same thing for over 60 years. It wasn't because of some crazy leader, it has been one of the goals of the commies since the very beginning. And how ...

Re: Tibet ~~
China isn't a one man show, and as some sort of meritocracy, they probably have less of a chance of getting a crazy president than some random unstable democracy. China isn't going to go crazy and 'annex' countries any time soon. being democracy doesn't mean you have a peaceful foreign policy. Ameri...

Re: Whats your religion?
Wow. More atheists and agnostics than I thought. Bible for me, personal experiences is my backing. Keep hearing a mathematical argument for God when people usually discuss his existence. That everything is too perfect therefore it must have been designed. But my thought on this has always been: Exi...
