Spring RTS Engine

I played D3 and Mercenary for a long time, same with D2, extremely fun. One of my top games for sure. Freespace looks hot to, I'll download it, though downloading things that big dont exactly go fast on dial up, think 4kb a second for a 700mb file, yikes...gonna be rough. I had to beat him with emp missiles because he had this little pocket with like 3 HLTs and 2 Annihilators in one corner and I couldn't get anything close enough to hurt him...

I agree with the jethro point, the samson can so why not the jethro? Missle towers and flaks are good the way they are though. But also, i think there should be a flak kbot. lvl2 of course, but it would be very neat and usefull, just incase you want mobile flakkers and dont want to build a lvl2 vech...

You are officially the mapping god of spring, I have never seen anything so original or beautifal. the metal patches are in cool patterns, the map itself is beyond awesome, water is small, but well spaced so assults need some skill, and evrything else is fantastic, congradulations on making my favor...

Of course NTAI isn't the only AI available, JCAI comes with spring, its not that good but its authentic from the SY's themselves, so its always compatible. OTAI is supposed to be very good, but it dosn't work for me. AAI is the one I reccomend, you can find them in the AI section in this forum.

Sometimes when Im playing games (in fact alot of times), I crash, yah, thats it. Randomly and irritating. How it happens is that I'll be in the middle of a game (usually some action like a raid or big building is going on) and spring will freeze up, like it will when its experiancing major lag, then...

Hey, I thought this up today, its simply a thread for some small suggestions that people may come up with. All you people are talking about needing more mods and better mods and, but what we really need is to give the cilent a mute button, think about it, easy shutting up, and you dont even need to have a mod on. if someone is pissing you off, you can just mute em and forget about em. Simple.

Yah, IMO the FPS system needs to be seirioudly reworked, it is a very nice part of spring and it has great potention to be a commercial feature.

Yah, I get this to, its very annoying and would love for it to be fixed.
