Re: firewall failure ?
I can't comment on your iptables lines because i use a firewall configuration generator (firehol) and never did it manually. What you say you did with your router and firewall should be enough, and is enough for me on Ubuntu. I would try to isolate and locate exactly where your connection is dropped...

Re: Springlobby
It seems that when you mouseover the number of players in a game, the tooltip is sometimes wrong, with spectators being listed as players. For example, you can often see the autohosts as players.

They don't shoot that well over eachother. At least not when they are too close, which is how they tend to move.

Re: Balanced Annihilation V6.31
What i fear is lategame porcfests. Imagine DSD. The people starting behind will probably have at least 3 comms alive by the end. How many times and different ways can you break a late game porc to go assassinate a cloackable and decoyable unit? Of course we can just ignore the comms and do the usual...

Re: Balanced Annihilation V6.31
In my opinion if the units dont blow its not comms ends. If its not comms ends, it might as well be comm continues and keep it simple. I agree that it should be played c. ends. What i dont agree is that losing one player's stuff ends the game. Well at least not in the maps i see played most. Don't b...

Re: Mephistos Lair Ban Policy Revision
I treat as i am treated. This thread is very tame compared to what we get in chat. Going back on topic, the ban list is not secret and should be posted here. I cant run a lobby now, so maybe another admin can post it. The ban list includes the ban date and time i think. That should make it easy to f...

No content no legitimacy.
And yes we don't have the sweetest attitude. I've been doing this too long.
And also the issues and attacks on the host have taken up an unfair slice of our time.

I have reviewed all zero replays that were posted with equal distance and effort. I think that its all about legitimacy, and i am indeed in a position to judge. Honestly i am not understanding you.

Re: Mephistos Lair Ban Policy Revision
I am awake at the helm. I've banned three griefers this week. I just happen, like you, to be deplorably human. I have a job, I have other concerns. You are being condescending to your peers and not addressing their concerns. I have no reason to be kind to you. I do not consider griefers to be my pe...

Try not to be scum. It is possible. Please, walk how you talk. I think you forgot to post the reason for that comment. But if i cared about insults to me, the banlist would be indeed massive. Neddie, i dont trust you nearly enough to unban aa roll for you. I see you made your way into adminship her...

Re: Mephistos Lair Ban Policy Revision
Children, The roll clan is to my understanding one person. If they are not, then they should have thought twice before letting that one person use their account to grief. No shit what did you think would happen? Some commands are disabled because the people you claim are victimized would repeatedly ...
