Re: Fantastic contraption
I dislike this thing, the wood rods go through other objects too easily.

Re: What are you doing with your money?
Platinum is looking like a tasty option at the moment. I doubt it'll be this low again for a very long time.

Re: [Mod] - Final Outcome
Well, if you're going to be doing yet another TA mod, what niche is this going to fill? We have BA for the competitive types and the incumbent mod, CA for the fast gameplay and new ideas, and NOTA for the slow, methodical gameplay. In order for this to get played, it will have to stand out. What is ...

Re: [Mod] - Final Outcome
Being forced to upgrade existing buildings rather than being able to build advanced buildings directly seems like it would add unnecessary micromanagement to the game. I just think that reclaim a mex to build an adv mex is strange and could be tweaked :-) Well, just keep in mind the game effect it ...

Re: P.U.R.E. 0.8 RC3
The overmind commander should produce some manner of materials. I ended up screwing myself because I built a factory first. Bit of an unnecessary noob trap.

Re: [Mod] - Final Outcome
Malonium seems interesting, seems to be basically a prerequisite for superweapons? You said you'd have faster teching. Faster than what? CA? NOTA? How long do you want games to normally last? Making metal spots dry up is just not wise, in my opinion. That sort of system would lead to stagnation. Why...

Re: P.U.R.E. 0.8 RC3
I do have some other balance input. Is it supposed to be so hard to raid a resistance player? I've found that it takes a long time to kill anything of value they have, from the ancient devices to their factories.

Yeah, last time I played somebody who used those things, I couldn't approach. I ended up having to bombard him to death with 4 SPC.

Is it in that high of demand, PXTL? I've already built a script to modify fbi files that works quite nicely. If people actually want it, I'll post it around here somewhere.

You could try using filefront as a mirror. It works for most people.
Re: NOTA 1.49
#1 a static commander is static meaning he is limited to his radius and cant do anything most of the game. The commander works all game in NOTA. If it isn't, you're doing it wrong. #2 it means ur base always has some protection and the commander can usually cover a lot of the base especially at sta...

The version 2 is quite slow to load. Did you pack it with 7zip as a solid archive? If so, make a version 3 with solid archive turned off.
