Re: Big Bug thread for 0.82.2/3 - Report bugs here
In AI, you actually can not make much progress in any direction if you never presume anything. And just for fun, try defining what "acting intuitive" means under a variety of battlefield conditions. I'd put some money on "avoiding unit collisions" being part of the definition al...

Re: Big Bug thread for 0.82.2/3 - Report bugs here
But the thing is, we already have customformations and the engine line formation and sometimes ctrl-click to make for that kind of maneuver when the player wants that. But when you want your units to clump as tightly as possible, wouldn't heatmapping interfere with that in many cases? The thing is t...

Re: Big Bug thread for 0.82.2/3 - Report bugs here
thelawenforcer, two explanations: you did not test any of the RCs!?!?! you are testing it right now! there are no other options, and the second one is already only me being nice. Did the dev who made the pathing commit test it?!? If they did, and didn't notice anything wrong, are they experienced e...

Re: Big Bug thread for 0.82.2/3 - Report bugs here
I'd be interested to know, with the new heatmapping+whatever else pathing change, what was the exact goal?
How should the units behave, if it worked right?

Re: GroupMove 1.0
81.2 also used heatmapping, but the heatmap code worked differently than it does now (there were a number of implementation changes, which simply promoted it from under- to over-effective). Why would the heatmapping be included in official release when it's so obviously not making anything better Y...

Re: Dragons Teeth not rendering
Ok, I believe this is a feature, which is being implimented ready for a future release where viewing a player will allow you to only see what they can see. It's just a transitional bug. Similar problem Iposted about ghosted structures! Viewing only what 1 player can see is already possible. For a l...

I managed to watch LLT complex 8v8 up to 12 minutes into the game, but, honestly, "watch" is the wrong word, I was watching the minimap, while camera was pointed at the least intensive part of the ground, still gave me 8-10 fps though. Should just maximize the minimap for that, it gives g...

I'd think you don't need much teamcolor, it's such a big model so even a small patch would be visible, and there probably won't be hostile ATATs passing by each other too often.
Not too sure where exactly though...
