Hi,

o.k. - found the Error !
It is IZArc !<<

If i crunch the sdz files with 7z (as zips) too, all run flawles.
Maybe this is the reason of the error in "replace" too ..??
But a bit bad that spring dont say that is a problem with the archive ...

Hi, Years ago (like 10) scsi was fast because they had 10,000 rpm (and transfer rate of course), but unreliable as all hell. I assume that has changed somewhat? you can buy nowday SATA with 10kRPM too ... Today top is SCSI(SAS) with 15kRPM. It is not only the RPM .. the expansive magnetical surface ...

Hi, SCSI? People still use SCSI drives? Wow. if you use high-end applications and need high transfere rates and long life HDs (even by 24/7 usage) it is still no way out of SCSI (or better nowdays SAS ;) ) SATA is nice for the avarage User and the need not more - no sense to pay for very expansive S...

Hi, the ability of different deep give the game more options as only a undersee unit that is only seen by sonar and can fight with torpedos or depthcharge .... It gives the chance of an more advanced tech-tree as only better armored submarines ... Deeper submarines shoud only dedectable by T3 sonar ...

But have an major breakdown on my SCSI storage, and with my new
controler i musst reinstall W2003 on a couple of PCs :\
So testing will take time now - musst first have all running.

Hi,

OpenAL32.dll is broken.
The older version, size 170.496 bytes, start but no sound.
The newer version (in 0.81.1 too), size 102.912 bytes,
crashes spring with follow error :
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005).click on ..."

Hi,

o.k. - it looks even the normal save is now broken in spring.
So it makes ATM no sense to relay on it ...
(Have after many fighting with SL sucesfull managed to get a game loading over spring, but with a couple of errors ... so useless ATM)

Hi,

more expansive submarines CAN (if the water deep enough) going deeper and so harder to detect.Maybe a scale over 3 deep classes.
Normal,medium deep,heavy deep.
Btw. i would like a different handling for Jets too ..

Hi,

on maps with depth and very depth water it is a bit of waste space, if the submarine only stay in the first 10% of water depth .....
Would be nice to have the ability to go deeper ...

Hi, have now under test the 2 save systems(one from Argh, the other from zwzsg). I like from the UI and overall looking the system from zwzsg more. Fit better in the spring UI and is with nice ideas ... But it looks it dont save hightmaps ... (so only usefull for games who the terrain is NOT altered...

Hi,

yes - the postet savegame loads flawles, except that the Vehicle-lab
was under build and now it is ready but have not full HP.

Will test the new writesave.lua ....

yes - this was with AAI .. so it is not supportet ?
And partialy:
Only ~30% of my units/buildings was here.
Mostly on wrong positions and the half with wrong health
status.
