Well, maybe the what-to-select-idea could be done with one key, for example tab or x orwhatever.

maybe try downloading the simple-chess map from file-universe, its size is 2x2.

still trying to figure out what all the stats are on the end game screen... move the mouse over the descriptions like MMPM or whatever, there are tool tips just as with units ;) The "get to one point before marching" might sometimes be useful, but how does the game know when and when not....
