Re: Spring is running in SMP
Forgive the newbieness, but the current spring already does use the cpu's nicely - half of each max, to be exact. (confused )
Edit: So now it'll be able to go above halves at times?

Re: Bimonthly Ladder Resets
A system that computes values and then divides them by the time is a good one. To explain - let's say you won 3 battles. One a month ago, one two weeks ago, and one today. The one a month ago will get divided by like, lets say, 8. One two weeks ago by 4. One today 1. So older battles weight less, ne...

Poll: Your CPU
There was a discussion about Spring & threading (thus making use of 1+ cpu), but it would be really helpful if there were some numbers to work with. So, please vote in the poll - how many cores does your computer/laptop have? Edit: Btw, being smrt and voting for an 8-core when you really don't p...

Re: CA X BA discussion
I like it where you have to use strategy. Not just amass a certain amount of firepower via rapid economic expansion, but also be able to use tactics on the battlefield to win. Like, sending a sneaking emp bomb in, and then beating up on the paralyzed people. What I really came to like though is tha...

Regarding your card, make sure your drivers are completely updated.
As for power of 2, yeah it's an important thing, since everybody keeps talking about it. I found some explanation here (http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.j ... dID=499026).

Re: High-Res Spring Videos
This (http://youtube.com/watch?v=MpKqQxTURik&feature=related) is by far my fav video for spring itself. Unfortunately it needs some introduction, because before playing spring, you really have no idea what are the captions saying :/
