i'm using the minimal portable windows version to test this and sometimes it hangs when trying to start a single player game. But after i close it i can try again on the same game and map and it works.
Anyone else got this?

Before finishing the loading process spring 96.0 crashes and shows an "access violation" popup on a specific map (flooded valley v2), but others work fine.

i played vs AI on my game and it worked. when i press alt-b, GameController:Draw and the ShadowHandler:CreateShadows are shown taking up 99% cpu and 87% cpu respectively, even at the start of the game (doesn't seem to grow as the unit numbers increase).
