Re: What models are left?
Thanks for the offer Wombat, but I prefer to make stuff myself (plus I'd already modelled two of them by that point...) Working off this , naturally, I've got the Stumpy, Mortar Tank and Medium Tank all modelled and UV'd, though not yet textured. I realise the unit list on that concept set don't qui...

Re: What models are left?
...Well nuts.
I'm making a Stumpy anyway.
Edit: Oh, misread that as 'pretty much all of 'em', ie 'none left' >_>

What models are left?
Tempted to take up TA modelling again; what units are left that don't have s3o remodels?
Core vehicles and level 1 kbots are done as memory serves; what about Arm's stuff?

Re: Random WIP
The texture turned out kind of grungy and not as cute as the first pic I posted. But I don't know how to make it look cute with out making the texture look undetailed. Any suggestions? Fiddle with contrast, brightness and saturation. Just use adjustment layers so you tweak to your heart's content w...

Re: what size should textures be?
The size of the unit is also important; something small won't need as big a texture as something big. Also make sure to optimise UV space; this includes mirrors (ie overlaying identical UV shells - for example, a KBot's legs are usually identical to each other, so reuse the UV space for extra textur...

Re: Random WIP
What rattle said. You've actually got the details down pat, it's just surface definition; at the moment, it just looks like it's made of some grey... stuff - it's all flat colours and shades. Get a few metal overlays and make it look like it's actually made of metal / plastic / whatever. Add some di...
