Re: Planetary Annihilation (Incoming Moon Drops!)
From watching Godde play and watching youtube streams All I see is A much simpler(less units and only 1 faction instead of 4) buggier supcom with round planets. Maybe If supcom was just released with all it's bugginess and fail support I might think PA would be a better choice, but ATM, with Supcom ...

Re: New Console Generation
You are over thinking the meaning of my statment. It is artificial in the sense that there is no real demand for a special console....Take a regular computer, stick it into a TV get a controller and play. They make special computers and make special games that only run on them so people are forced t...

Re: New Console Generation
What? I need to care about the artificially created console market? Make a special computer and make sure you got games that work only on this type of computer and make players who want to play these games buy your crap. Hmm... Who should I root for...The Japanese variant or the USA variant... Hmm F...

Re: Promotion/Advertising for Spring
Release bar with one faction, installer and good premade shortcut keys that are accessible in game and a final closed LUA set and I'll come back to play it. I don't like ZK gameplay/flat balance but it do like how easy it is to play it. Key bindings have basically been left to text editing in BA(at ...

Re: Planetary Annihilation (Incoming Moon Drops!)
Just come play Forged alliance on the FAF lobby... Its the same fucking thing only better balanced, more polished, free and developed by a dedicated community(oh shit no round planets)... As far as the 90$ price I see nothing wrong with it. If you dont want it, dont get it(guess what? nobody is forc...

Re: Planetory Annihilation (Incoming Moon Drops!)
What is this no judging notion? why Can't I have an opinion based on the current information? Should I reserve criticism to the beta? the release? the patches? the expansion?? I thought their attitude was to dev the game with the community in mind so I'd say you should criticize as much as possible ...

Re: Grim Dawn Alpha!
I have no problem with a lot of grey. My problem is with classic hack and slash games in general. Usually there is no other goal in the game but leveling up... That is the main objective and you do it for it's own sake... You grind to level up, to be able to grind and kill stronger monsters and than...

Forged Alliance Forever
http://www.faforever.com/
This is a free forged alliance lobby.
Much like the spring lobbies and community it has several mods on it and a lot of players.
You can "get" Supcom Forged Alliance, update it and play.

Titan Quest is boring.
If this game is gonna be a new Titan Quest it will suck hard.

Really, it seems like PA is doing what spring so badly needs; A step up, a fresh start, while using all these cool control schemes and mechanisms.

Re: Promotion/Advertising for Spring
Spring mostly appeals to a tiny bizarre group within the gaming community. It has to be someone interested in competitive multiplayer RTS games(pvp) while not feeling satisfied with playing starcraft or supcom or some other older "AAA" titles that are still around. Spring does not appeal t...

Re: Starcrap 2 APM
Really now...This is the doom of most RTS games. Clickfests... Starcraft 2, Spring, Supcom, Planetary annihilation.. If you don't want a clickfest play some awesome turn based strategy. Also, you do not have to have huge APM to play SC2 and have fun. All you have to do is try not to climb the ladder...

Re: Planetory Annihilation (Incoming Moon Drops!)
How about timing? Every game has a multiplayer life span. The period of time that it is played by players online. It all starts with marketing before the game is released. A buzz is formed and the first sparks of a community start gathering around the videos/images/forum of the game. Why do people ge...

I don't see what is so intriguing about it TBH.
I do wonder how they will present the information a minimap usually presents.
