Ok I downloaded clang but no Idea how to use it. I think that it's not compiled either…
Can someone tell me how I should be doing this because I don't think I'm doing it right.

Re: How to compile map?
Those sites were all read before I started, plus some others. On the finalizing - the Mac part of it has been left blank. What I don't understand is how to run it. EDIT: I'm looking at clang and g++ now, I think I have to use one or the other to run it, however I'm not sure what file to run. Enlight...

Re: How to compile map?
Hmm ok I have no idea how to use them. Three questions then: 1) Anyone know enough about them to explain it very carefully to one who hasn't done much in this area? (I try to learn fast) 2) Even if it might be time consuming, how might I do it manually? What steps would I need to do to convert my fo...

How to compile map?

I am new to map making, so have just read all of the documentation about it, but don't know how to get past just having the metal map, heightmap, featuremap and texture files (I have all of them). Re: Accomodating No startbox choose in game
I like the idea, however there seems to be a couple problems I can think of: People with faster computers will load in first and potentially get the better positions, also you would be able to work out where the enemy is by whether or not you can place somewhere. Other than those two, I think that w...

Re: Accomodating No startbox choose in game
I was more thinking of not being able to start near enemies - because that's the main problem(I think). If you start on top of eachother, then both coms die, both people imediately out of the game. Sorry I didn't make this clearer above.

Accomodating No startbox choose in game
I don't really know if this is handled by the engine or the mods, but I'm assuming that it's to do with the engine because (I think) it seems universally in mods. I'd like there to be accomodation made for a nostartbox team/ffa game mode. (to clarify, no startbox but choose start pos. in game) The r...
