Mines should cost a miniscule amount of energy to cloak, so that when the player dies, you don't have to hunt for the mines. A good value would be .01 energy, or lower if possible. Alternately, make the mines take minor damage when the player has no energy, so that they die after a minute or two of ...

In my opinion, interceptors should be considerably more expensive and build slower. They seem to basically rule the early game.

Make sure all the players have lua shaders enabled. Still needs to be fixed of course, but that seems to work around it.

I dislike this sort of game because it annoys me. There are so many simpler solutions that I can't use because of the interface. For example, why can't I smash the key holders with that gold bar? And why can't I use that pocketknife to knock the pins out of the door hinges?
