No, I haven't installed websvn.. Is it needed? I would suspect that fisheye can provide the same services.

Spring SVN

The Spring SVN is now located on a different server (the same one that hosts this website), and seems to be working fine. Please let me know if there are any problems.

Also, the ssl certificate has been updated, and is now issued to "spring.clan-sy.com".

Just so you know, everyone who is a forum administrator can find the ftp information for the site. And adding a screenshot consists of simply uploading the file to the screenshot directory, thumbnailing and sorting etc are automatic. So I don't think the other forum admins have a valid excuse either...

I've created a configuration.php in the parent folder now, moved the site content to a sub-folder to avoid having to put it in the general wwwdata folder.

The mail configuration is fixed now. I've purged accounts that never logged in, so it should be possible to sign up again with your preferred username.

These added measures are a protection against spambots, not human vandals.. The captcha is configured by default to show up when registering a new user or when an anonymous user adds a new external link. The config syntax for disabling anonymous editing had changed, which is why anonymous editing wa...

Wiki skin has been updated, should hopefully look like before.

Also, I think the formatting used on the front page doesn't work with this new wiki version (looks the same with the default skin), so perhaps someone could update it. :)

Wiki software updated

The wiki software has been updated to the latest version, 1.10. I've also installed a captcha extension for new user signup and anonymous edits that includes links, as well as the spam blacklist extension. Hopefully this will help with the wiki spam problem. One issue may be that spambots will reuse...

Think I'll start with updating the wiki to 1.10. After that there are captcha-plugins available, which should help. Perhaps the spam-blacklist could be added as well.

Fisheye interface to SVN

A little while ago Betalord suggested that Fisheye should be installed. And now, only three months later, it is!

http://spring.clan-sy.com/fisheye

It's a bit like WebSVN, but with a lot more stuff.

It certainly did not work very well on the temporary server. But now it's back where it belongs! I haven't finished configuring everything yet though, so there may be some more temporary outages tomorrow. But it should at least be useable now. About the upgrade: the server is now running Linux inste...

Temporary server move

I've moved the site to a new computer, while I upgrade and reinstall the regular one. Hopefully it shouldn't be too noticeable, but it could perhaps be a little slower. Should only be for a few days though.
