Rockets don't care about elevation and will use their normal range. This makes them good for hitting things on spires.
Plasma gets a range bonus from height.

Re: CA Evelations question ?
But I remember reading somewhere the range system was changed from a cone to a sphere, meaning that even if the unit could reach farther with the boost of gravit, it wouldnt know it, isnt that right? And wouldnt force-firing in the ground make the unit try to hit that spot, instead of whatever was b...

With some maps I get a utter loss of performace.
There are some maps, as an example fins revenge, where everthing works normally like it should on loading, but then it gets to the map there is an immense slow-down even before the game starts, the kind where you move the mouse and wait five seconds to see it moving... how can I fix this?

Make a big wall of things that block water with floodgates :) Actually you probally should check wikip├â┬®dia since I have the faint impression there was water pressure that could break the walls if you pressed then too much, but I dont remember.

Its usually a good idea to leave the tech 1 factory spaming scout units then you hit tech 1 in BA. Having a swarm of cheap, expendable, ultra-fast units ready to go at any time is utterly usefull.

They dont think that, its just that helping the poor gives out a better impression to the general public than making it fair for everone. Governments, as far as I know, are more concerned with the public opinion about then than with actually making the country go forward, and this explains most of t...
