My method With a multiplier of .9 the best you'd be able to get would be 9 farks working on a building for the resultant total buildspeed of 3.5 farks. 0.9 is a realy harsh multiplier actualy... with 0.95 youd top off with 20 farks doing the buildspeed of 7.172 farks. Ya know what would be nice, as a comprimise... To have efficency go down with each extra unit building, so say the efficiency multiplier was set at 0.90, when your building a unit by itself it builds fine. When you add another unit the build speed is 10% less than it would normaly be with that extra...

I think the most elagent solution for this, and related problems, would be to use that new fbi tag in the latest release of spring to make all missile firing units shoot their missiles upwards at 15-25 degrees.

one thing that would be neat would be to have a map that tiles several times, but doesnt nececairly "wrap around"

This would effectivley increase the size of a map wiithout a huge memory hit.

yeah, gunships could still be as deadly as ever, but you'd need to back em up wityth fighters and bombers if you wanted to wreck someones base. In the feild they'd be self suficient, but in order to crack AA somthing else should be used.

digressing from the topic a bit, the raven has realy skinny legs, esp compared to most arm kbots that tend to have more "humaoid" legs, closest to the raven is the adv constructor but even that has thicker legs for it's size.

What you do is add an aplha channel to the texture, the more white it is, the more shiny. Pure white is a mirror finish, you'd probably want somthing around 15% whiteness all over.

Frankly I'd say the role of Gunships is harrying units in the field, not as a base assault unit. Doesn't much bother me if stationary flak emplacements tear them apart (obviously within reason); that's a bomber's job. Gunships should be able to tear up an undefended army en-route, but I doubt they ...
