They look good Cremuss, maybe a tad too clean but still excellent work there. I've honestly never found splines to be much more useful than regular mesh creation or using preset shapes. Its good for creating custom shapes quickly, but you still gotta go back and redo polygons and all sorts of extra work to clean it up. At least thats my experience with splines in max, especia...

I just have a hard time believing that a pewee would be the size of an elemental, and more of a full sized mech instead of a tiny powered armored suit.

I dunno, the scale seems fairly appropriate considering the size of the Pewee.

At least to me it looks about spot on for what I would expect of an ultralight mech under 25 tons.

Alot of style into those concepts.

Undeniable.

Reminds me alot of the same futuristic art style that went into Aliens (2) such as with the Sulaco and Dropship design.

Only thing that bothers me is the unfinished appearance of the AK's legs.

Still could be great, there are a few spots on the model that could be cleaned up where vertices could be removed to lower the polycount.

With a good texture it could look sweet.

Finished up the animation sequence, and I'm going to get this unwrapped this weekend and start working out the texture. Model got a few parts chopped down on the toothed lock for the 2 halves that open to save some polies. Its now at 1260 triangles. Hopefully this animation is a little more interest...

Afaik, with text-2 Red = glow Green = reflect blue = specular alpha = transparency I think when Rattle was helping me with scripts and wrapping up the models, he would switch the Reflection map to being blank and use what I had for the specular map. Maybe the Self lighting and Envmapping(reflect) are on the wrong channels, thats all I can think of. It looks way too washed out ingame, but might also be the map lighting too.
