Re: maackey's WIP
It seems in the latest version of CA, this model doesn't work with the XRay shader... any ideas?

Re: Completely inappropriate behavior, and the results
I want to release something that is balanced, complete, and playable. I dont want people to play my game and label it as unbalanced buggy shit. Unfortunatly, this is nearly impossible. Jusy look at any commercially released RTS game from the last 20 years or so. They're all buggy to some degree and...

Re: Completely inappropriate behavior, and the results
But you realise at some point you have to release the mod (otherwise what's the point of making it available to anyone other than yourself anyway) and at that point ppl can still violate the licence if they so wish....

And eventually you/they may be able to win before the time wave of your counter-counter-counter-counter units actions catch up to the present.

Re: Time Travel RTS
Not quite, in fact the timeline you exist on ceases to exist or ever have existed, ensuring that the divide by zero never happens. You still lose the game.

Re: Time Travel RTS
Presumably by making more 'time waves', or adding some random factor (speed/separation) to their propogation, you could make it harder/easier to 'game' the time wave mechanic to your advantage...

Yah, Zsinj seems to have a handle on how they're managing the complexity. I really really want to play this game, the concept is brilliant!

Re: Civilization fans
Have any of you tried the "Fall from Heaven" mod for Civ 4 Beyond the Sword? It's an amazing total conversion to turn civ into a fantasy realm, with goblins, lizardmen, dwarves, magic and dragons. It really has to be played ot believe how much work has gone into it. There's soemthing like ...

Re: Sagrario's Room Escape
I made my own room escape game. Except my game has a really clever twist that means you can play it anywehre, AT ANY TIME! Simply close your eyes, then try to find your way out. It can sometimes take me literally minutes to get out again. This game also has the benefit that you can play with friends...

Re: School Shooting in Germany
I think you have to weigh up the balance of benefit/cost. I am not trying to argue against legitimate registration and use of some specialised firearms, such as hunting and target rifles, in certain places (like registed hunting areas). I am undecided if you should be able to 'go out in the woods an...
