Perhaps, but the other benefits still apply even for someone that doesn't appreciate art, its good for young artists, and it certainly brightens the mood of the commuters more then a cold sterile concrete/cave enviorment would.smoth wrote:That sort of philosophical musing is old hat soul.

Re: One more reason to envy Sweden
all that art and textural roofing is going to be covered with dirt and grime in a few decades it will not be as pretty forever. Beauty seldom lasts forever, statues as well as flowers wither, people age and passion dwindles. Many great philosophers state that beauty is per definition fleeting, thou...

Re: Magicka
Guys, why all this hostility, there is a thread about magicka and people post tactics/spell combos on it. Whats the big problem? If you don't like the thread, then don't read it. The only reason i did my post was so people who want another way to play it for more replay value might try something new...

This seems like high-level-player-whine, ZvP isn't that bad, have you ever heard of burrow? Burrowed roaches pop up kill colossus, or infestors mindcontrol for epic devestation towards protoss. This whole youtubeclip is all about trying to get the colossus nerfed. But i'm all for removing the coloss...

There are multiple ways to do play this game, but most of you seem stuck on low lvl spell casting. I sudgest rain + thunder. (more or less instant kill to whatever unit it hits unless boss) and if you use timeshift and are any good at spamming thunder you will be able to kill everything quickly enou...

Welcome to sc2 one of the most ragy games ever... Me and scifi are at 2v2 golden league... We were winning tons of games but were going down in ranks ... I still dont understand how its possible but it was annoying as hell. You go down in ranks because others go up in rank, they simply have more po...

Re: Article claims Stephen Hawking proved the existence of God
. well maybe... Anyway can you maybe agree that I were not confusing religion with dogma, perhaps just using "religion" in the "organized religion" sense implicitly? On the dogma topic, well. I just feel totally certain I am right that dogma is not just a "belief or ritual&...

Re: Article claims Stephen Hawking proved the existence of God
If I'm talking in one long unbroken sentence, moving from topic to topic making it quite hypnotic, I apologize too, because I tend to make long sentences when I'm discussing topics such as this one even while attempting to be succinct. Captain Picard reference? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6oUz1...

Though on topic of those two words, dogma and religion, those two words are in both Russian and Lithuanian and are defined identically in those language's dictionaries to the English dictionaries (as religion was borrowed from French and dogma from Greek)...

Re: Article claims Stephen Hawking proved the existence of God
Can't redefine religion because that is like trying to change what the word blue means man. I 100% promise you there was some sort of loss in the translation for dize. He was trying and that is commendable but he was arguing the same points back repeatedly. GUY 1: The sky is blue! GUY 2: The sky is...

Re: Article claims Stephen Hawking proved the existence of God
For the last time, it is not the topic here to waste time attempting define words or compile lists of what is needed to define said words. It is completely futile, irrelevant and counter-productive. There already is a source for definitions that were refined in many cycles by many people. The list ...

Ah, that is all very good, except one small thing, the definition says a troll associated with the action of trolling, not that trolling is the definition of trolls action. The definition you linked has that loophole, but im sure it is intentional so i supose you "should" be right. Please...

Re: Article claims Stephen Hawking proved the existence of God
Well a definition is by definition the most basic rules of an object, that applies to all the objects shapes and attributes. So to ad a rule to the definition that doesn't include all attributes and shapes of the object, in this case rituals in a religion that aren't effecting other people, is some...

Re: Article claims Stephen Hawking proved the existence of God
I'm sure that dizekat is just trolling or else he could have just directly asked me about the definition instead of trying to be argumentative. His fingers aren't broken. He can look up the definition of dogma himself even if I'm not sure if his reading comprehension skill are adequate. He didn't s...
