well you might ask, what's the point of haveing that...well in sea battles there is so much AA that you might wana place you planes somewhere safe from all the aa fire yet close to the action in case you might need them or something...or just keep them hiden and just bust out your plans as a surpri...

i belive that is the core carrier(i think, might be the other way around).....the arm counter part is not as usefull.... also, if you wanted highly effective AA ship you would just build an AA cruiser...which just happens to be both cheaper and more effective(also takes less time 2 make) than carrie...

gota has a point.... well what i c as a problem here is that lawn has been playing nota for sometime now(from what i can see)...and even till now he has not gotten a full feel for nota...i personaly don't think he is to blame here...nota is a very complicated game...and just the other game i discove...

well iv played commander and base mode in single player alot(be4 i started playing online)....my major beef with it was that you got major defensive building at key spots of the map (far away from base)...resulting in long long long games... well what you can do is not give any factory building to t...

i dont mind the slowness(i actually love it) but one of the reasons not as many people play nota (not as much) is because a nota game takes a long time(if this was a commercial game there would be huge problems, god bless open source)...maybe the creators(thor & smart dude) can like make a mini ...

adding plasma shields would ruin the games balance....plasma shields would eliminate all counters to porking ....nota games would start lasting for 3 hours instead of 30-min to 90 mins they do now(it si alot already) anyway....plasma shields dont lokk soo good in game... anyways i was thinking...one...

hummmmm....well snipers are 2 slow when it comes to production to be able 2 stand up to larg numbers of thuds(which is comewhich is commonly seen)...also, snipers are not are usefull when not stationary i'v never used levelers(or seen it be used 2 much)...not gana comment there(well not yet anyway)....

Hammers/Thuds are indeed intended to be anti-kbot. I've set up a NOTA autohost for you (Nitrogen), it inherited the admin list from the XTA autohost. this might not make up for the lack in interest for the mod(imo, thu it can increase interest)...but it will make setting up games easier for people who are already into this....

the other idea would be for someone to (this would be a lot more work probably) take a mod (probably BA or CA) and make the largest land unit be the smallest possible unit size... I think a 1x1 footprint becomes a targetting problem so this would likely be a 2x2.... THEN you make any units that are...
