This is win. Coolest metal map tiles by far.
You should release a map even if it is just four to six repetitive areas and a wide open plain. I'm looking forward to slaughtering some chickens..

Re: Terragen 1 or 2
It might be a bit limited compared to other programs but saying it sucks is a bit of a stretch.hunterw wrote:terragen 1 sucks and there is no reason to use it imo
I wouldn't say that supreme battlefield's texture sucks and it is completely done in terragen.

Re: StarCraft: Big Game Hunters
I am well aware that there is already a The Hunters map. I have it. I was just hoping to start off modding with one of my favorite maps. I have the terrain directly from the map itself, it took me about a day to edit all the terrain so it'd look decent. I just really wanna see what my hard work wou...

Ahhh.. I see I'm not the only one who was somewhat disappointed when my units/buildings didn't get damaged by the lava flow.123vtemp wrote:With a job that fine, your gonna need to add in lava dmg
Definitely an awesome map aesthetics-wise. These lua gadgets can really give a map that immersive feeling.

Cool models manolo. I especially like the soccer stadium, and the fast food donuts place. You even captured the essence of lard lad. He might need some additional fattage though. =D

Re: Map guidelines
I've never been a fan of guidelines. Both mods and even people's individual tastes vary so much. A lot of people hate speedmetal and yet it was extremely popular. Another example.. You use altored to illustrate a good setup. Whereas I know a lot of people hate altored because it is so choke-pointish...

White russians are really good, Kahlua + vodka & cream or milk. Probably my favorite mixed drink. Also, I used to enjoy whiskey and coca cola back when I still drank sodas.

Re: The Cursed - Death and Rebirth
They remind me of the Necron mod I had started couple years ago with two more french. Was thinking about that a few weeks ago. I remember you posting a shot of some those units in spring and they looked evil & cool. You should finish it! Necron vs the Cursed could be interesting.. Azaremoth, I ...

Just animating a unit in spring is a pain. A whole game (remember S44, PURE, SWIW - these aren't just mods) can take a long time even with a team of skilled people.kburts wrote:pretty much starting from scratch... i'm just wondering
