Re: New Ubuntu Apt Repository for Spring

Does this mean that CA from the ca-installer package is now legal to use (without owning TA)? No it contains OTA con...

Re: P.U.R.E. RC5.3

That is my point though, for windows users who have a previous version (meaning that file doesn't have everything), so what exactly is linux missing out on? Also you missing my point, i am not on about the patch, i am on about the barebones installer, the fact that it says for people who have a prev...

Re: P.U.R.E. RC5.3

It may be picky but i still don't like the description heh. It still says "This release is for all users of P.U.R.E. who have installed previous versions of the game." Why for people who have previous versions, what does it miss out on? I would just have "The basic game with no missio...

Re: P.U.R.E. RC5.3

Well it states "This release is for all users of P.U.R.E. who have installed previous versions of the game." which leads me to believe it needs content from previous versions.

You need to better describe the downloads mate.

Can't download from that link, probably as my net sucks, will download when other links are up or when that link works for me.

Good job on getting the download smaller, will help quite a bit :D

A question -> what AI's work? My net is too bad to play online :(

Spring Looby - one small niggle

Basically i just tested installing spring from the CLI, it all worked fine but one small niggle i have is when i loaded spring lobby. It tells me i don't have a data directory setup, i tell it to create one where i say and it open the save dialog thing to "home/liam/spring" and gives me an...

Could the new lobby server not have a mechanism for checking like validated mods and warn if the mod they are about to use has not been validated, which would be done by an admin or mod?

Read what "insaneinside" said, that will usually fix the problem.

Unless you installed the lobby only and not spring engine itself.
