Re: Dev meeting minutes 2011-05-30
ehm...no, please always test if you can and reports bugs! imo the devs need always feedback. as we hopefully get a test-release soon, it would make more sense to take the same time to test the release-candidate as there are currently some branches not merged into the master. (which could lead to new...

@Beherith:
i think its better to wait for the release. but testing is always good as to few people do it with spring/master builds.

access levels in mantis
i changed the access level in mantis: a reporter (normal user) can now reopen an issue. if i understood it right: before only the initial reporter could reopen issue, i think that fits better to the workflow we have. i hope this doesn't open doors for some trolls... if so i change it back. the probl...

Re: setting path for ArchiveMover.exe?
@Jools then don't use it. you don't see the other problems: when spring is updated, you've to move all stuff from the old directory into a new one (or overwrite the old directory), this can/will cause trouble. when put into %My Games% you can use the maps/games for multiple spring-installations, tha...

Re: setting path for ArchiveMover.exe?
@se5a if you want to share it, you can still put them onto a network drive, for example install spring on n:\spring and put maps/games into n:\spring\maps or n:\spring\games but how to detect this path on a remote machine? this is impossible if spring isn't installed / .sd7 isn't registered with arc...

Re: setting path for ArchiveMover.exe?
please don't use that file as it contains some potentially bugs: it will move base-files if you double click them. the old version doesn't read springdata, too. it only moves to subpath of archivemover.exe. It moves also into the deprecated path \mods... better fix https://github.com/spring/spring/t...

Re: Some problems in dev AI Java
is there an error message in infolog.txt about it?
afaik units have to be in Line of Sight if you want to access unitdef data.
maybe http://springrts.com/wiki/AI:Developmen ... definition helps?
