Re: Lava map anyone?
PS have questions. Can SSMF do anything like the first/second pictures for the lava cracks? It would need to use a self-illuminating, alpha-mapped texture with variable opacity as a layer. If SSMF isn't used by many people it may look like shit on a large number of computers. I'm a noob and haven't ...

Re: Tabula v4 - Updates with new features
Really the original with water was fairly realistic, sand on a seabed is realistic. But it does not look realistic when you remove the water. In reality grass would grow even in the grass(in such a climate) so you would have lots of grass clumps in the desert or even a firm grass covering. Only tak...

http://valinoreternal.no-ip.org:10004/springstats.html that is the most depressing list of all time hey that's less depressing to me than i expected! my maps have been played by players for 2,500,303 minutes. that's 27.9% of DSD's minutes!!! glad to see behe dropping quality maps all over the place...

Re: Spring to be featured in Wired Magazine
MoonQ20x would be a great one. Talus is amazing as well, just that the symmetry may be a downside for a more artsy project like this. True, the symmetry only makes sense for something like a clock, which is symmetric by design. I think it'd look best hung diagonally. It would also necessitate gluin...

Re: Spring to be featured in Wired Magazine
I'm glad someone found your idea as cool as I did! It can't hurt Spring's playerbase to be featured in a huge national magazine like WIRED. Talus clock sounds badass 8) it is the best choice of my maps, since the heightmap alone will look cool without any texture. It's square, which is nice for a cl...

I wholeheartedly approve. You can always nab my palm tree meshes out of Tumult, they would work down in the sandy area.Beherith wrote:Hunter, I could SSMF talus if you so desire. Would you mind me putting the smallest patter of features on it though? Ill run it through you for approval when I get the time.

community sucks, not big enough, lots of assholes, most of which only play 16 player dsd. no reason to make new maps or content because it won't get used.oksnoop2 wrote:What about spring sucks now?
