Re: Mods question
yes it can, but with not so good graphics they would be able to do things that they dont do now, like bigger maps in fps or others games without loading zones, more players in fps games, more things to do, those CPU power and RAM used because of those beatiful graphics, could be used on another thi...

Re: Mods question
yeah people seem to believe that good graphics cannot possibly come with good gameplay. Of course that is an old throw-back to the nineties and why so many idiots still buy into it confounds me........ yes it can, but with not so good graphics they would be able to do things that they dont do now, ...

Re: mod request ^^
civilization is not a unique idea, because there is a game like this, and it is called civilization. So the (civilization) spring mod would be exactly another game that exist (civilization) and that would not be a unique thing.Gota wrote:Well civ is very unique and good idea............

Re: mod request ^^
If you are gonna post some mod idea, at least post something very unique and good, something that anyone has thinked about or will think about it, and maybe (i said maybe) someone will look and think "hey this idea is very good i need to make a mod like this".

Re: Mods question
1) A 2) A 3) C - I dont mind if they game graphics worse if they have a reason to do that, like making the view distances farther in a fps, or adding more things (like they did in gta san andreas)...... But if the developer is making the graphics worse just to release the game faster or another thin...

Re: can a building construct multiple units at the same time?
Dont make games based on realism, this is the sort of knot you tie yourself in. All games, even 'realistic' world war 2 ones or such, are an abstraction. The setting is only a context. Make games that are fun to play, not 'realistic'. This kind of realism that I (and the guy that made the post) sai...

Re: can a building construct multiple units at the same time?
There is another unrealistic thing in some rts games: Imagine that someone need 10 years training to become a archer and in a rts game you can build (train) a archer in 1 minute. So 1 real-life minute = 10 ingame years. If after you finish this archer you choose them and you send a unit to some plac...

Re: can a building construct multiple units at the same time?
A reason to put this on training based rts games is that would be more realistic. Generally a poor reason for a game mechanic. With traning based rts games i am talking about, rts games like age of empires, warcraft, command and conquer, cossacks european wars....That are games where the building t...

Re: can a building construct multiple units at the same time?
A reason to put this on training based rts games is that would be more realistic. Imagine a medieval rts that has a building where you can build (train) archers. In real life when you are on a school for example you dont need to wait for someone graduate to another person enter in the school and sta...

Re: Kernel Panic
OK.
Now back to Kernel panic. What factions kernel panic dont have??
I can just think now of User, maybe graphics (with units like pixel or polygon....), something related to OS.

Re: Spherical worlds weeeeeeeeee
A planet is not so small, even a 64x64 will not be the size of a planet. This "spherical worlds" thing will only be useful for mods not based on TA, on mods where the map is not in a planet, like in kernel panic. Its better to the spring developers focus on others things, since some said h...

Re: Kernel Panic
This mod is very fun to play. But i think that if this mod had a more realistics analogies the game would be better. Some ideas. The map of the game would be the HD. There is still no resources but there is a new thing called RAM. Each team would have some amount of RAM Points. The ram is needed to ...
