Re: Imperial Winter - where things stand, and how you can help.
The units that still need animations aren't in the svn yet. Most aren't even in-game yet. I'll get around to adding them soon (likely in a separate folder so you guys can make it an add-on pack or whatever you want to do). If there's a shell command or something to add svn users, I can do that, othe...

Good enough for you? The bottom one was brand new in that pic anywaydizekat wrote:You guys suck. You should photo *your* keyboard with all the dirt on it and post that. Would be a ton more entertaining.

Re: Playing Games Late
is it really considered late when the console the game was released on is still part of the active generation?
I played HL1 about two years after finishing HL2, and I didn't play HL2 for about a year after its release. you do the math

Re: Netbook Shopping
atom dual core and ion is the best you can do in a netbook, which actually might be able to play portal, maybe with multithreading enabled... I suppose I'll try it. I have a desktop atom 330 with ion and a couple gigs of RAM. I'll report back shortly. [edit] Running at 1440x900 (my main monitor's n...

Re: documentation on modrules.lua?
Here's ours from IW. I documented it as best I could from reading the source. However, it looks like I last messed with this file in late 2008 so the information might be outdated and there is likely new stuff by now. local modrules = { reclaim = { multiReclaim = false, -- boolean - allow only 1 or ...

Re: Please remove featured SW:IW content
You misunderstood, hoijui. All of the banners and such that are in the rotation exist as attachments in threads in this forum. If you guys decide to take them down, I'm just asking that those threads/posts be moved to our forum (or maybe back to the contribs forum, or whatever) instead of deleted.

Re: Please remove featured SW:IW content
Regardless, if they are taken off the live site, could you guys at least throw the topics containing them in some other forum (hell, the IW forum here would be as fine as any) so we don't have to find the stuff again later?

Re: An Indecent Proposal [SWIW]
I think I'll start with a quote from zwzsg in the other topic since it'll help establish our standing: I lost interest when I realised they wouldn't release I.W. before reaching perfection. It's not that we're shooting for perfection, we're just shooting for a positive first impression. Existing Spr...

Re: Please remove featured SW:IW content
if you want to speed it up, throw us some people who can write good looking walker animations. Those are what I suck at most.
That said, whatever, I'm sure Zsinj will bitch and moan though

Re: Translating the ingame user interface
I agree this will not happen anytime soon. And I think it is impossible to make a special mod version with a different language for sync reasons. You wouldn't need a special mod version, you could just make translation files with internal unitnames and translations of unit display names, descriptio...

Howto: Make scriptor open files correctly
Simply telling windows to open .bos files in Scriptor doesn't work right (at least, it never has for me). When set up that way, you'll commonly get a window that looks something like this: http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/4641/screwedup.th.jpg And each successive bos file you open comes up in a new ...
