Re: Chemical castration
Pedophiles need to get help obviously, but chemical castration isn't the answer. The answer is making specialized psychologists freely available, combined with society accepting that the pedophiles are not to be blamed for having the problem, and supporting them in getting help. This is the best way...

Re: MINECRAFT IS NOW BETA!
I'm waiting til 1.9, atm the adventure update is adventure free I found a huge network of mine shafts underground, with a huge amount of rail tracks (some holes for the player to fill). I am close to completing the route, and it will lead me from ground level to about height 5. There is an ENORMOUS...

Re: Imperial Winter - where things stand, and how you can help.
At this point I think there are two options: 1. Do not release any files because of fear someone might fork it, this results in the game never going to be released, wasting all their work, because obviously the development team isn't going to finish it without help. Their computers can't even run sp...

Not trying to troll you here, but you just can't count that. It's not released and the last time more information came out about it is months or years ago.

Why not bind accounts to IP? And allow only 2 or 3 accounts per ip?
I know that will not stop all abuse, but it will help a lot. Smurfing will be significantly harder.

Re: Forum has become boring after politics/eco and religion ban.
What satrik is trying to say is that this forum isn't exactly very busy, and banning one of the most common subjects will only make it worse. Mods can complain about how difficult it is to moderate such threads, but that simply isn't true. A warning to people who are disrespectful of others is more ...

Civil enough compared to the other threads on this forum.
And why not just warn people who are uncivil instead of banning the discussion?

How are civil discussions about politics and religion flame baits and rage threads?
And if you think they are, then why post in them?

Yes, true.
I really don't see the problem with politics and religion. It's like mods are afraid of discussions. Their job isn't to ban all discussions, but to deal with offenders...

What is so special about dailymail? Really the only UK website i know is the guardian.Just cause it is mentioned so much HERE. The daily mail is a retarded newspaper. Newspaper is too much honor though, because it is a tabloid that only spreads empty words, hate and celebrity gossip. The guardian i...

Re: Random WIP
Mostly legs/feet and the belly a bit. Imagine an arm without biceps. Or a leg without that big... leg muscle. Doesn't matter if it's not human, it just doesn't feel right. Maybe you need to put a bit more polygons in it to make the shapes look natural, especially on the legs and feet.

I could like, pretend to be a newcomer and give a ridiculous game "design" document if that makes you feel better?

Wow that looks nice! The geometry looks a bit messed up though, very unnatural. I recommend you try to make it more similar to human anatomy. He looks very deformed.

Re: Adding black side bars to 16:9 monitor
I can't answer your question, but I recommend you search for a "widescreen hack" for the game you're playing. There are many games, even very old ones, that support 16:9 after a bit of editing, and this is very easy to do with the correct program.
What are you playing?

Re: Much appreciated
I don't see any reason for disallowing such topics. Trolls will troll, but the discussions in the threads were very mature and it was no worse than any other thread on this board.
Bad decision imo. This forum is too quiet already, and banning the most popular subject is silly.
